Miryam Abebe

Miryam Abebe is a medical examiner, independent curator and founder of sichtbar.art. In 2016 she completed a certificate course in curating at the University of the Arts Berlin and workshops (Writing about Photography, Curaiting Photography) at the Shift School in Dresden. For five years she was part of the curatorial team of the Künstlerhaus S11 in Solothurn, where she organised the exhibitions Filmtage and photography exhibitions. Since 2017 she has been part of the working group of the vfg Young Talent Award for Photography and since 2018 she has been part of the team of the IAF-Basel, Festival for Contemporary Art. In 2018 she founded the platform sichtbar.art.
